Giorgio Armani-Fall Collection

Hey!

So I was looking at Giorgio Armani's Fall Collection for 2011, and I absolutely love it. It was based completely on the many different shades of pink, dusky prints, suits and just fun colors!

I have nothing against pink, where some may say it is too girly. But a beautiful dusky rose dress, with some type of fur stole is soo fall. The color is not too warm, yet warm enough for fall! And I loved the strapless print dresses. They gave off an elegant vibe that seemed really put together with the lacy boots. You can see the collection on Vogue. And I highly suggest you do. It gave me soo many ideas on what my fall wardrobe should be!

This is just one of the many fantastic designs by Armani. I especially love how the cinched waist pulls it all together!

Ballet Inspired Trends

Hey Everyone!

So believe it or not, many trends and styles (I think) are inspired by ballet. High, glossy, pulled back buns were probably copied from the prima ballerinas. Leg-warmers, a warm-up method for dancers were used in the eighties, and so were leotards. Leggings could have been to! Also, tulle skirts were originated from the costumes ballerina's used to wear.

I also think spaghetti strap tops could have originated from what ballerinas use to show off their beautiful, swan-like necks. Maybe these theories are wrong, but maybe they're right! What do you think? Comment below!

Fall Fashion

Hey Everyone!

So it's getting colder now and for me, it's a wardrobe change!
Fall is one of my favorite seasons because of all the colors available. Fall is a time for warm colors. Brown, beige, whites, reds, tans. It's also the season for different textures! Leather, hobos, zippers, and faux fur are all coming out of your dusty closets again!

I especially love brown leather and suede boots in fall as they give an unexpected chic and sheek feeling to everything. Just pairing it with skinny jeans, a moto leather jacket, and a scarf is an AMAZING outfit! It gives off a city vibe that is really modern and sleek.
